Abstract

The purposes of this research were: (1) to measure farmer adoption level to the project of producing rice plant seed of ciherang, (2) to measure the level of form income of ciherang rice plant on the project of producing the seed breeder, (3) to anylise the relationship between farmer adoption level to the project of producing the breeder rice plant seed of ciherang. This research was held in Bandaijaya, Air Sugihan, Ogan Komering Ilir. The election of location was held purposively with the judgment that Bandaijaya was a village that acted producing the breeder rice plant seed of ciherang and used media of illumination as information media. Submiting the data in the ared was held in March until April 2008. The method of research that was used in this research was a case study method. The method of drawing the semples on this research was a census method by taking all the members of Sumber Makmur farmer numbers groups who followed the project of producing breeder rice plant seed of ciherang as much as 30 people set of case. The data were primary and secondary data. To answer the first purpose to measure the farmer adoption level to the project of producing breeder rice plant seed of ciherang by determining the income effort of ciherang rice plant was used the pattem of Pn = Y x Hy, and the third purpuse was to analyse the relationship between farmer adoption level to the project of producing the breeder rice plant seed of ciherang with the farming income was used Non-Parametric statistic examination with the corelation of Spearman level on areal Standard (a = 0,05). The results of the research show ad that farmer adoption level to the project of producing the breeder rice plant seed of ciherang was on the medium characteristic with the number of average score was 26,6. The farming income was Rp. 7.167.833,33,-/ha/mt. Farmers adoption level to the projet of producing the breeder rice plant seed of ciherang was influent significantly to the farming income was measuring rs (-0,3476) < table rs (0,3059). I
