Abstract

Untuk menentukan cadangan hidrokarbon suatu reservoir dapat dilakukan dengan metode kurva penurunan produksi (decline curve). Berdasarkan hasil evaluasinya, maka metode kurva penurunan produksi hanya menggunakan data laju produksi, data kumulatif produksi dan waktu produksi. Metode kurva penurunan produksi ini digunakan untuk menentukan Ultimale Recovery, Remaining Reserves, dan Remaining Life. Sebelum dilakukan pembahasan mengenai kurva penurunan produksi untuk menentukan cadangan minyak, maka perlu adanya penentuan jenis decline curve. Penentuan jenis decline curve juga menggunakan metode penentuan nilai ratio (b) yaitu metode loss ratio dan trial error X - Chisquare.Hasil yang didapat dari metode loss ratio b = 0.665, sehingga kurva berjenis hyperbolic. Sedangkan menggunakan metode trial error nilai b = 0, sehingga kurva berjenis eksponential. Hasil perhitungan dan pembahasan untuk jenis kurva secara loss ratio pada Lapisan Z didapatkan Remaining Reserves sebesar 371.36 MSTB; Ultimate Recovery sebesar 9290.56MSTB; remaining life selama 74.2 bulan, masih cukup potensial untuk dikelola hingga bulan desember 2018, sedangkan dengan metode trial error didapat Remaining Reserves sebesar 375.24 MSTB; Ultimate Recovery sebesar 9294.44 MSTB; remaining life sebesar 59.1 bulan., masih cukup potensial untuk dikelola hingga bulan Oktober 2017.Besarnya penurunan laju produksi minyak lapangan PT. Pertamina EP Region Sumatera untuk Lapisan Z adalah 0.06285/bulan dengan metode loss ratio, sedangakan dengan metode trial error adalah sebesar 0.03599/bulan.
