Abstract
The objectives of this research was to determine the effect ot iiquid tertilis phosphorus leached, uptake and dry weight of com shoot growing on different soil textures. on This research has been conducted in the Laboratory of Soil Chemical, Biology and Fertiiizer, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This research carried out ffom January to April 2014. This research used Factorial Randomized Completely Design (RCD) with two factors. The first factor was dose of liquid fertiiizer, which consists of 5 levels, which use control (0 ml), Pi (10 ml), P2 (20 ml), P3 (30 ml) and P4 (40 ml), while the second factor was the soil texture which consists of 2 type, Ti (sandy loam ) and T2 (sandy clay). Every treatment combination was repeated 3 times, so the total of treated still use 5 x 2 x 3 = 30 sampels. Observed variables measured were nutrients leached and nutrients uptake. Based on the research that has been done, the results showed that liquid fertiiizer with a dose of 20 ml in sandy loam. the highest leached phosphorous. The application ot 30 ml liquid fertiiizer per pot produced the highest P uptake on both soil textures and lowest leached P. So that a dose of 30 ml (P3) is a most appropriate dose for improve nutrient uptake and lower leaching nutrient Phosphorus. The highest shoot dried weight was receahed by application of 30 ml liquid fertilizer on sandy clay. It is suggested to apply liquid fertilizer on leaves because of high leaching on sandy loam.
