Abstract
This research aims to prove that there is an influence of the use of memes as a learning medium on the learning interest of class 4 Palembang. The method used in this research is an experimental research method. The experimental research design used was True Experimental Design with a Posttest-Only Control Design approach. The population addressed in this research was class for data collection, research was carried out using questionnaires, observations and interviews with data analysis techniques using learning interest evaluation scores and a qualitative data analysis approach. In the t-test, the results obtained were tcount of 39.79 and ttable of 1.69, which can be concluded that Ha was accepted, which means that it is proven that there is an influence of the use of memes as a learning medium on the learning interest of class X students at SMA Negeri 4 Palembang. The suggestions in this research are preparation, education, socialization, and application of the use of memes according to culture and material that is relevant to the students' conditions.
