Abstract

This research was motivated by still lack of management program of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. This study aims to determine the management program of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) especially about Serumpun Bambu Sejuta Berkah and to identify the factors that was influencing the program. This study used qualitative research method with descriptive study. Types of data used are primary data and secondary data. The technique of data collections was done through interviews, observation and documentation. This study used the management theory by George R. Terry where the successful of management program affected by four dimensions are (1) Planning (2) Organizing (3) Actuating (4) Controlling. Based on the analysis and research in the field, for the level of planning was not good enough for organizing and actuating had not maximal and for controlling dimension still had not maximal. The conclusion of the research was management program of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Serumpun Bambu Sejuta Berkah PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang still has not achieved its full potential. This study provided some suggestions to maximalizing the budget used of maintanance the bamboo, creating special team and improving the participation of citizens to maintanance the bamboo, and maximalizing the role of the media in promoting the program and the last improving the frequency of supervision.
