Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of experimental methods on the science process skills of children aged 5-6 years in Tk Pertiwi Indralaya. This study uses a quantitative research approach with the type of pre-experimental research and a one shot case study design. Data collection techniques use observation and documentation. The population in this study was all class B participants in Tk Pertiwi Indralaya, which had two classes, namely class B1 and B2. The sampling ftechnique using a purposive sampling in this study is class B2 totaling 20 children. The data analysis technique in this study used a normality test and T-test. The results of data analysis using the T-Test calculated a value of 5.27 in the t distribution table with a significance of 0.05 and the degree of freedom (dk) 19 so that the table t value is 1.73. Then the value of tcalculated 5.2 ≥ ttable 1.73 from the calculation results stated H0 rejected and Ha accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of experimental methods on the science process skills of children aged 5-6 years in Tk Pertiwi Indralaya.
