Abstract
This research aims to explore and to study antagonism actvity of endophyte microbes in palm oil roots on pathogen Ganoderma sp. growth. Roots sample was obtained from Pandu Senjaya village, Pangkalan Lada District, Central Kalimantan and Letawa village, Sarjo District, West Sulawesi. This research was did from the observation on cell shape of endophyte bacterium, Gram varieties, onstruction zone lenght and its onstruction percentage. Then genus of endophyte fungi, interaction pattern and onstruction percentage. The observation results showed that cell shape of endophyte bacterium that was isolated is bacil and coccus, Gram reaction is positive Gram. On dual culture test, endophyte bacterium from Pandu Senjaya village can inhibit average 8.57 ± 1.02 %. Endophyte bacterium from Letawa village can inhibit Ganoderma sp. colony growth average 11.77 ± 0.88 %. The onstruction zone lenght of isolate from Pandu Senjaya village avearge 1.4 ± 0.02 and isolate from Letawa village average 0.4 ± 0.04 mm. The highest onstruction zone is on dual culture B13 isolate that was obtained from Pandu Senjaya village. The observation results showed that isolation was obtained endophyte fungi genus Aspergillus, Fusarium, Penicillium, Trichoderma and unknown genus, with interaction pattern are overlapping and lysis zone. On dual culture, endophyte fungi from Pandu Senjaya village can inhibit Ganoderma colony growth average 48.21 ± 1.65 %. Endophyte fungi from Letawa village can inhibit Ganoderma colony growth average 58.89 ± 1.69 %.
