Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran akuntansi yang mengikuti ekstrakulikuler Accounting and Economic Club (AEC) di MAN 2 Palembang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitin ini adalah 20 siswa yang menjadi anggota ekstrakulikuler AEC MAN 2 Palembang. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan melalui tes dan wawancara sebagai data pendukung. Adapun 30% siswa berada dalam kategori sangat kritis, 50% siswa berada dalam kategori kritis, 0% siswa berada dalam kategori cukup kritis dan 20% siswa berada dalam kategori kurang kritis. Dalam penelitian kemampuan berpikir kritis sangat direkomendasikan untuk menggunakan materi jurnal penyesuaian, menjabarkan lebih detail hasil tes siswa dan menggunakan jenis wawancara terstruktur agar tersaji informasi yang lengkap terkait siswa yang mewakili masing-masing kategori berpikir kritis. Kata-Kata Kunci : Berpikir kritis, Akuntansi, Ekstrakulikuler This research aims to describe the critical thinking skills of students in accounting subjects who take part in the Accounting and Economic Club (AEC) extracurricular at MAN 2 Palembang. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The subjects in this research were 20 students who were extracurricular members of AEC MAN 2 Palembang. Research data collection was carried out through tests and interviews as supporting data. 30% of students are in the very critical category, 50% of students are in the critical category, 0% of students are in the moderately critical category and 20% of students are in the less critical category. In research on critical thinking skills, it is highly recommended to use adjusted journal material, describe student test results in more detail and use structured interviews to provide complete information regarding students representing each critical thinking category.
