Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi dan self-esteem terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru SMK Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan yang berjumlah 30 orang dan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sensus. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh melalui pengumpulan data dengan instrumen kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi dan self-esteem berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disarankan beberapa rekomendasi perbaikan seperti memberikan bimbingan teknis dan mempertegas dalam pengimplementasian aturan yang dibuat sekolah.
