Abstract
The objective of this research was to study the effect of adding urea on ammoniation of kumpai grass oil on dry matter , crude fiber, crude protein, crude fat and BETN. This research was done in two processes. The first process was producing kumpai grass oil amoniation within 21 days at Laboratorium Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak Fakultas Pertanian. The second process was analyzed the nutritive value of kumpai oil ammoniation at Laboratorium Teknologi Hasil Pertanian, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sriwijaya. This research used Completly Randomized Design with 4 treatments and 4 replications, : A (control), B (kumpai grass oil + 2% urea), C (kumpai grass oil + 4% urea), D (kumpai grass oil + 6% urea). The parameters measured were dry matter., crude fiber, crude protein, crude fat and BETN The result showed that all the treatments resulted significantly differences dry matter, crude fiber, crude protein and crude fat, and BETN. The conclusion of the research was treatment by addition urea 2% give the best result.
