Abstract

Technopreneurship literacy is the ability to access and utilize information and communication technology (ICT) in entrepreneurial activities. Understanding of the concept of entrepreneurship that uses technology as a support to facilitate entrepreneurial activities. This research is motivated by previous research at different universities regarding the influence of technopreneurship literacy on entrepreneurial interest. The aim of this research is to see whether there is an influence between technopreneurship literacy on the entrepreneurial interest of students in the Sriwijaya University Economic Education Study Program. This research is an associative type of quantitative research. The sample used in this research was 121 active Economics Education students at Sriwijaya University class 2021-2022 who were selected using a simple random sampling technique. Student technopreneurship literacy data was obtained from a questionnaire consisting of 32 valid and reliable statements. Meanwhile, data on entrepreneurial interest was obtained from a questionnaire consisting of 36 valid and reliable statements. Then, interviews were conducted to support research data. The data was analyzed descriptively which was then continued with hypothesis testing. The results of the hypothesis test show that there is an influence of technopreneurship literacy on the entrepreneurial interest of Sriwijaya University Economics Education students where the calculated t value = 12.455 ≥ t table value = 1.908 so that Ha is accepted. The results of calculating the differentiation coefficient show that the entrepreneurial interest of Sriwijaya University Economics Education students is influenced by 80.73% by technopreneurship literacy, while the remaining 19.27% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.
