Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMP kelas VIII pada pembelajaran menggunakan soal tipe PISA pada materi geometri dengan konteks wisata Palembang. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Pendidikan Matematika Realistik (PMRI). Pada penelitian ini konteks yang digunakan yaitu Museum Balaputradewa Palembang. Subjek pada penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas VIII.C SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif melalui tes dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siswa kelas VIII.C SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang, dalam menyelesaikan soal tipe PISA konteks wisata palembang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis yang masih rendah. Indikator yang paling banyak muncul yaitu indikator evaluasi, disusul dengan indikator analisis, kemudian indikator interpretasi sedangkan indikator inferensi masih jarang muncul.
