Abstract
Learning motivation is a condition that arises in individuals in the form of encouragement to do something to achieve their goals. This study aims to provide an overview of the level of learning motivation of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara who are indicated to have learning difficulties. This study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The population in this study was 146 grade XI students and the sample used was 68 students who indicated learning difficulties with purposive sampling techniques. The data in this study were obtained using a learning motivation questionnaire with a Likert scale type and disseminated online through a google form. The data analysis technique of learning motivation of grade XI students who are indicated to have learning difficulties in 68 research samples is known that as many as 28% (19 students) have a high level of learning motivation, 51% (35 students) have a moderate level of learning motivation, and 21% (14 students) have a low level of learning motivation. So it can be concluded that the level of learning motivation of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara who are indicated to have learning difficulties tends to be in the medium category. From the results of this study, it is hoped that students can overcome obstacles in learning and always maintain learning motivation in themselves.
