Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan digital book berbasis karakter terhadap pengguatan karakter peserta didik kelas VII pada mata pelajaran PPKn di Sekolah Alam Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode fenamologi. Teknik pengumpulan sempel dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan lima narasumber. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan Teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan menggunakan uji kreadibilitas, uji transferabilitas, uji dependabilitas, dan uji konfirmabilitas. Teknik analisi data menggunakan reduksi data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan digital book berbasis karakter terhadap pengguatan karakter peserta didik kelas VII pada mata pelajaran PPKn di Sekolah Alam Palembang dalam penerapan digital book mendapatkan hasil pengguatan ke enam karakter religius, toleransi, disiplin, kreatif, cinta tanah air, dan gemar membaca. Dalam memperkuat karakter peserta didik sudah taat akan perintah Allah SWT, toleransi terhadap guru dan teman dilingkungan sekolah, disiplin akan peraturan yang ada dilingkungan sekolah, berkreativitas dalam pembelajaran, menanamkan rasa cinta tanah air kedalam diri, dan menumbuhkan rasa gemar membaca didalam diri peserta didik. Pengguatan karakter yang sudah di berikan dalam pembelajaran diharapkan dapat di terapkan peserta didik disekolah maupun dilingkungan dalam menjalankan kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata Kunci : Digital Book, Pengutan Karakter, Mata Pelajaran PPKn This study aims to determine how the use of character-based digital books on strengthening the character of grade VII students in PPKn subjects Sekolah Alam at Palembang. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with phenalogical methods. Sempel collection technique using purposive sampling technique with five resource persons. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. Validity tests use readability tests, transferability tests, dependability tests, and confirmability tests. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion presentation. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the use of character-based digital books on strengthening the character of grade VII students in PPKn subjects at Sekolah Alam Palembang in the application of digital books gets the results of strengthening the six characters of legitimacy, tolerance, discipline, creativity, love the motherland, and love to read. In strengthening the character of students who have obeyed the commands of Allah SWT, tolerant of teachers and friends in the school environment, discipline of existing regulations in the school, creativity in learning, instilling a love for the homeland into themselves, and fostering a love of reading in students. Strengthening the character that has been given in learning is expected to be applied by students at school and in the environment in carrying out daily life.
