Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of the rights of correctional students (Andikpas) in receiving character education at the Class II Special Child Development Institute (LPKA) Bandar Lampung. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The sample collection technique used purposive sampling technique with four informants. Data collection techniques using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The validity test uses the credibility test, transferability test, dependability test and confirmability test. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion presentation. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of the rights of correctional students (Andikpas) to receive character education at the Class II Special Child Development Institute (LPKA) Bandar Lampung has been implemented. Character education is included in the personality development program, with a focus on religious development, national and state awareness, and intellectual abilities. This effort is carried out in the hope of helping Andikpas overcome challenges and become a good person in the surrounding environment.
