Abstract
This development research was conducted to produce E-Modules of basic concepts,determination of molar mass of polymers and partially crystalline polymers based on problem-based learning that are valid, practical and effective. In the development of E-Modules, the 4S TMD model consists of 4 stages, namely, selection, structuring, characterisation, and didactic reduction. The results of the E-module research on the validity of the material showed aiken's V coefficient value of 1, pedagogical validity of 1 and design validity of 1. This shows that both in terms of material, pedagogics and design are in the high category, so that this E-Module can be said to be valid. In the field test, a practicality test was carried out with a score of 92.4% which was categorised as very practical. In the E-Module Effectiveness test, it was reviewed from the learning outcomes test by conducting a pretest and posttest by obtaining a pretest value of 41.42% and a posttest value of 91.07%. then the results were processed using the N-Gain formula with a result of 0.86 which was categorised as high so that it could be said to be effective to be used in the learning process. This shows that the E-Module that has been developed has achieved valid, practical and effective criteria.
