Abstract

This thesis is entitled "Social and Economic Development of Transmigrant Communities in the Integrated Integrated City of Sungai Rambutan Integrated Settlement Units in 2008-2017 (Contribution of Material in Indonesian History Subjects in North Indralaya 2 High School)". The problem raised by the author is how the development of the social and economic life of the Sungai Rambutan Integrated City Transmigrant Independent Transmigration Unit in the Rambutan River Settlement Unit since the beginning of the formation of the Sungai Rambutan-Parit Independent City. The purpose of this study was to determine the social development and economic development of the Sungai Rambutan Mandiri City Integrated Transmigrant Community in the Sungai Rambutan Transmigration Settlement Unit in 2008-2017. The social aspects observed included social life in the form of social interactions between transmigrant communities originating from the island of Java with the local rambutan community, community mutual cooperation, public health, and community education. In the economic aspect, it was observed how the traditional livelihoods of the migrants after their arrival at the Sungai Rambutan Independent City, and how the transmigrant community fulfilled their daily needs.
