Abstract

Tingginya tingkat turnover dapat berdampak negatif bagi stabilitas internal organisasi. Salah satu bentuk upaya yang dapat dilakukan oleh organisasi untuk meminimalisir tingkat turnover intention yang kemudian akan menurunkan resiko terjadinya turnover yang sesungguhnya adalah dengan mengoptimalkan kebijakan terkait pemberian beban kerja yang proporsional dan kompensasi yang sesuai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh beban kerja dan kompensasi terhadap turnover intention pada guru SMA/SMK Pimpinan Cabang Muhammadiyah Ilir Timur 1. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan 198 Guru Tetap Yayasan (GTY) dan Guru Tidak Tetap (GTT) Pimpinan Cabang Muhammadiyah Ilir Timur 1. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan insidental sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 66 responden melalui perhitungan rumus Slovin. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan merupakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa beban kerja (X1) tidak berpengaruh terhadap turnover intention (Y) dan kompensasi (X2) berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention.
