Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of group guidance services against the prevention of drug abuse to students of class X in SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. The population in this study were all students of class X which amounted to 67 students and a sample of 7 students who have a low score. The research method used is one group pre-test and post-test design and treatment given 4 times meeting group guidance and discussion services. Data analysis techniques use the t test formula (t-test). From result of data analysis obtained in 5% significant level, so it is known that = 11.66. > = 2,447. The results showed that the knowledge of the students of grade X SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang increased after obtaining group guidance services. In other words, students' knowledge about the prevention of drug abuse can be improved through the provision of class X guidance services in SHS Srijaya Negara Palembang.
