Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of Bitcoin Cryptocurrency, Exchange Rates, and Interest Rates on the stock prices of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research utilizes secondary panel data covering the period from January 2015 to December 2023, sourced from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Bank Indonesia, and Investing.com. Descriptive data analysis was performed using the Panel Data Regression method, with data processed through E-Views software. The findings indicate that Bitcoin Cryptocurrency has a significant positive effect on banking stock prices on the IDX. Exchange rates, on the other hand, have a negative but insignificant effect on these stock prices. Interest rates show a significant positive effect on banking stock prices. Overall, the results reveal that Bitcoin Cryptocurrency, Exchange Rates, and Interest Rates collectively influence the stock prices of banking companies on the IDX.
