Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to see the implementation of high school biology laboratory management in Lahat district in terms of completeness of facilities and infrastructure, qualifications of laboratory personnel, environmental conditions, administrative completeness, as well as occupational health and safety in the laboratory. This research uses a descriptive method. The samples in this study were 5 high schools in Lahat Regency with A accreditation. Data collection techniques were carried out using laboratory head questionnaire data, laboratory assistant questionnaires, and observation data. The results of this research show the management profile of high school biology laboratories in Lahat district based on questionnaire data from the head of the laboratory and laboratory assistant, namely (84%), and based on observation data on the components of infrastructure completeness (72%), completeness of facilities (41%), completeness of administration (28% ), environmental conditions (73%), occupational health and safety (50%). It can be concluded that the profile of high school biology laboratory management in Lahat Regency according to observation data is quite complete and very good according to questionnaire data.
