Abstract

This research is motivated by three mam problems: First. people often assess public sector organizations as a hotbed of inefficiency, waste, and institutions that are always losing money. Second, there are materials that must be purchased for the installation of new connections. Third, the Regional Water Supply Company of Tirta Agung in the City / installation Unit of Kandis has a target of installing 500 new connections that must be achieved. This study aims to determine the economic level, efficiency and effectiveness of the Drinking Water Connection program at the Tirta Agung Regional Water Supply Company in OKI District at the CSJ Unit of Kandis in 2016 fiscal year. the theory used in this• study is the theory of value for money Mahmudi by measuring tile economic level, efficiency and effectiveness of the program. Economic level measurement compares input plans with input realizations, efficiency level compares output performance and input performance, and effectiveness level compares outcome performance and output performance. This type of research 1s descriptive research with data types and data analysis combined between quantitative and qualitative. Data collection techniques used in the form of literature studies, documentation and in interviews. The results showed that the Drinking Water Connection Program at the Tirta Agung Regional Water Supply Company m OKI District at the CS/ Unit of Kandis in 2016 showed an economic, inefficient and ineffective performance. This study suggested that the Regional Water Supply Company of Tirta Agung in the CST Unit of Kandis in the Water Supply Connection Program in the future could maintain its economy, improve efficiency and increase effectiveness.
