Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat motivasi belajar siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 10 Palembang melalui penerapan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis filsafat pada materi bola. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan penggunaan skala likert sebagai acuan penilaian angket motivasi siswa. Lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis filsafat pada materi bola divalidasi oleh validator dan kemudian diberikan kepada siswa kelas IX.8 SMP Negeri 10 Palembang. Pertemuan dilakukan dua kali, pertemuan pertama membahas volume bola dan pertemuan kedua membahas luas permukaan bola. Setelah selesai, siswa diberikan angket motivasi untuk melihat seberapa tinggi tingkat motivasi belajar siswa melalui penerapan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis filsafat. 3 siswa dipilih untuk diwawancarai lebih lanjut terkait motivasi belajar. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berlangsung sesuai dengan RPP yang sudah dirancang dan hasil dari penerapan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis filsafat pada materi bola untuk melihat motivasi belajar siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 10 Palembang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dengan persentase 69,725%.
