Abstract

The Regional Library of South Sumatera design created by transparation theme which is include the result, data and library planning analysis. The theme of transparation is basic from the word of clearly, open and connectly aspect. The library has a building form which get from the people’s facilites needed, room connection and the comfort room. The library creat with the room zoning which have a zoning from the time of facilities using, the site which have an outdoor facilities, structure material with the easy application and the comfort room with the large opening and transparation room with the double glazzed material. The building cosist of the activites like a library and the library management then the support facilities like a comercial area, galery, workshoop and outdoor which can accomodate the 1500 visitors in one day. The building excellence is with using the ramp to makes easier esspecially for difable people. The library has the retenntion pond with 2 activity like relaxing pool and discussion pool. The intrance orientation directly conneting to the amphiteater with the best view to the Ulu part region of Palembang.
