Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of box drill training on agility abilities in futsal extracurricular activities at SD Negeri 58 Lubuk Linggau. The method used in this research is quasi experiment. The research design is a one group pretest posttest design. The research sample was 30 students at SD Negeri 58 Lubuk Linggau. The box drill test measurement results have a pretest result and frequency category, namely 20 students with a percentage of 66.66% in the poor category, and 10 students with a percentage of 33.33% in the very poor category, and in the posttest results and frequency category, namely 30 students with a percentage 100% in the good category. The value obtained by the Independent Sample Test tcount was 1.474. After carrying out the hypothesis testing criteria using the t test, there is tcount 5.896 and ttable 1.69, then tcount > ttable with a confidence level of 0.95 (α 0.05) with a sample size of (N 30). It was explained that there was a significant difference, which means (Ha) there was an influence of box drill training on agility abilities in futsal extracurricular activities at SD Negeri 58 LubukLinggau.
