Abstract

This study titled “Development of Audio-Visual Based Learning Media Using TravelBoast European Nations' Arrival Materials to Indonesia” contains data on the background of the arrival of Europeans to Indonesia and the route of their arrival This study has been applied in class XI.9 of SMA Negeri 3 Prabumulih. As for the purpose of this study, it is to develop a learning medium with the use of a valid Application and to have an effective impact on history learning in SMA Negeri 3 Prabumulih. This study was a development study using the Alessi & Trollip model. The learning medium was validated by three experts, namely the material expert, the media expert and the language expert. Kevalidan material has a value of 4.86 with a very valid category, kevalidan media has a value of 4.35 with a very valid category, last kevalidan Bahasa has a value of 4.58 with a very valid category. Overall the results from the alpha test earned an average score of 4.59 with very valid categories. The influence of Audiovisual based learning media using TravelBoast for history learning in Palembang Negeri SMA is seen in the improvement of learners' learning outcomes before and after using learning media at the field trial stage by 21% with N-gain of 0.42 This shows that Audiovisual based learning media using TravelBoast material of arrival of Europeans to Indonesia history for History Learning class XI SMA Negeri 3 Prabumulih has valid value and effectiveness Keywords: Development, Media, Audio Visual, TravelBoast, Validation, Effectiveness
