Abstract
To reduce the dependence of energy use from petroleum which is decreasing, Utilization of gas and petroleum energy source need to look for alternative energy source one of them utilization of waste gas-fueled stove gasification from coffee plantation result. The design and manufacture of gasification stoves with single fuel leather coffee with simple design is intended for rural communities. Gasification is the process of converting thermochemically solid fuels into gases, which in the process of thermokimianya required air is udarah burning stokiometri. From result of calculation and testing of fuel composition through ultimate and proximate test, the result of stove design with diameter of reactor 15 cm and height of reactor 45 cm. Then made a gasification stove and tested at the Energy Conversion Laboratory of Sriwijaya University. The test methodology was carried out by testing the water boilling test by heating water as much as 1 liter with 1 kg of fuel loaded into the stove reactor. The test resulted in a flammable gas burning gas with 24% thermal efficiency, capable of water proofing for 8 minute with fuel consumption rate of 1.2 kg / hour, 2 m/ s udarah supply and can operate for 43 minutes. xxvi +43 page + 7 Table + 41 Drawings
