Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and work discipline on employee performance in the Civil Service Police Unit Kepahiang. This study design uses quantitative methods assisted by descriptive. Determining the number of samples in this study used the Simple Random Sampling technique, namely a portion of employees who were considered to represent the total number of employees with a total of 111 people. This research uses primary data obtained through questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Data was processed using the SPSS 25 program. The results of this study indicate that Motivation and Work Discipline simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on the performance of Civil Service Police Unit Kepahiang employees which can be seen from the Fcount of 114,450 while the Ftable value is 2.69. Because Fcount is greater than Ftable, namely 114,450> 2.69, it can be concluded that the dependent variable (Employee Performance (Y)) is influenced positively and significantly by the independent variables (Motivation (X1) and Work Discipline (X2).
