Abstract

Instagram is a popular social network in Indonesia. In fact, Indonesia is ranked as the 4th largest Instagram user in the world. Based on sources on the internet, it is stated that people in Indonesia do not realize the importance of personal data security in digital. Therefore, researchers use the issue of Privacy Concerns on the social media object Instagram which is a popular and commonly used social network in society. This research uses a method developed by Puspitasari, Dita Rahma (2017) which in the study uses a combination of the Technology Accaptance Model (TAM) method developed by Rupak Rauniar et al. (2014) and Internet User's Information Privacy Concerns. This research continues the methods used in previous studies with different social networking objects. In this study, it aims to determine the relationship between variables in the method used and to find out the causes of Instagram social media users doing problems in digital privacy. From the results obtained, it is known that the TRUST variable or user trust in Instagram affects the level of user intention to use Instagram.
