Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh media pembelajaran Video Animasi terhadap minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 3 Gelumbang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Pre-Experimental Designs bentuk One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Gelumbang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ialah cluster random sampling dengan sampel diperoleh sebanyak 34 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan observasi. Teknik analisis data minat belajar diperoleh dari hasil angket pretest dan posttest sedangkan data observasi diperoleh dari hasil observasi pada saat proses pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran Video Animasi. Hipotesis di uji menggunakan perhitungan Uji-t paired sample t-test. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh t_(hitung )≥ t_tabel atau 4,45 ≥ 1,69236 berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran video animasi terhadap minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 3 Gelumbang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan pendidik dapat mengkombinasikan media pembelajaran video animasi dalam belajar untuk meningkatkan minat siswa dalam belajar.
