Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Discovery Learning berbasis outdoor pada keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X pada materi Ekosistem. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pre-eksperimental dengan desaign penelitian one group pre-test pos-tes Desaign. Pengambilan data dilakukan di SMA Patra Mandiri 2 Palembang. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar yang masing – masing terdiri dari 15 soal pilihan ganda. Data Keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar di analisis menggunakan uji paired sampel t-test pada program SPSS Versi 22.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model Discovery Learning berbasis outdoor meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar dengan nilai N-gain hasil belajar sebesar 0,66 dalam kategori sedang dan N-gain hasil belajar yaitu 0,69 dengan kategori sedang. Hasil uji hipotesis keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar menunjukkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Discovery learning berbasis outdoor berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Patra Mandiri 2 palembang pada materi ekosistem.
