Abstract
The Faculty of Computer Science at Sriwijaya University requires an information system to facilitate the management of letter and document archives. This system is crucial for administrative staff who need quick and accurate access to archives from various locations and at any time. This study aims to develop a web-based letter and document archiving information system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method and Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams for system modeling. To ensure system quality, analysis is conducted using the PIECES method and testing is performed with the Blackbox Testing method. RAD is chosen for its ability to support rapid and flexible system development through an iterative process, allowing for active collaboration between developers and faculty. The result of this research is a letter and document archiving information system that integrates RAD, PIECES, and UML methods. This system is expected to provide an effective solution for archive management and serve as a reference for other educational institutions in implementing similar system development and testing methods. UML diagrams aid in clarifying the system's structure and interactions, facilitating understanding and coordination among all other employees
