Abstract

CPO merupakan sebagai salah satu pendorong perekonomian Indonesia dan sebagai pemicu berkembangnya industri hilir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya saing Crude Palm Oil (CPO) Indonesia dengan Malaysia dan Thailand (2012-2021) di pasar Internasional serta kemampuan Indonesia dalam menguasai pasar. Data yang digunakan berupa data sekunder yang diperoleh dari International Trade Centre (ITC), dan UN Comtrade. Metode penelitian menggunakan alat analisis Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) dan Acceleration Ratio (AR). Hasil perhitungan RCA yakni 1,00 menunjukkan bahwa daya saing CPO berada diats rata-rata dunia. Artinya, Indonesia, Malaysia dan Thailand dapat dikatakan sudah optimal dalam memanfaatkan keunggulan luas lahan, biaya tenaga kerja, dan biaya input dalam mencapai keunggulan komparatif. Sedangkan nilai AR kurang dari satu yakni 0,49, artinya bahwa Indonesia belum mampu bersaing dengan negara pesaing lainnya.
