Abstract
A formation process i s that of change that causes forces to create plastic deformation. Strength o f such forces to create formation of things has to be given permanently. This research deals with a bending process that formed metal sheet of ST 37, good materials to form. They were formed in a variety of 1, 2, and 3 mm thickness, and angles of 90, 120 and 150 degrees. The Finite Element Method with help of SolidWorks Software was applied to form the metal sheets with thickness of 1, 2 and 3 mm and angles of 90, 120 and 150 degrees. This numeric method was found to achieve faster and acceptable results. The results of the analysis show that the highest tension of 10.947.723 Von Mises was found in the metal sheets of 3 mm thickness when a force of 1110 Newton was applied. The lowest tension of 1.461.458 Von Mises was found in those of 1 mm thickness and the resultant force was 13.18 Newton.
