Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of per capita income on housing demand in Palembang City. time series data (time series data includes data on the number of residents who own a house, per capita income and population in Palembang City 2000-2016. The analytical method used is quantitative analysis with multiple regression analysis using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. from this research are (1) The results of the study show that per capita income has a positive and significant effect on the demand for perumhana; (2) the population has a negative effect and is significant for housing demand.
