Abstract

This study is entitled "Development of E-Module Based on Problem Based Learning Using Sea Digital Learning (SIGIL) Application of Indonesian National Movement Material in History Learning for Class XI at SMAN 3 Tanjung Raja". This research is a type of development research using the development Research method with the Rowntree development model. The problems faced at SMA Negeri 3 Tanjung Raja are the lack of creativity of educators in using technology-based eaching materials. This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of electronic modules based on problem based learning using the sea digital learning application. The validity of the electronic module teaching materials is based on the results of expert validation carried out by material experts, language experts and media experts. The results of the material validation were 4.7 media experts were 4.7 and language experts were 3.5. The effectiveness of the electronic module teaching materials can be seen from the learning outcomes of students as measured from the field trial stage in the pretest activity with a value of 32.66 and posttests with a value of 86.33 and Ngain of 0.79 which is included in the high category. After implementing the electronic module teaching materials based on problem based learning using the sea digital learning application, students experienced an increase in learning outcomes of 53.67% so it can be concluded that the teaching materials in the form of electronic modules are valid and effective.
