Abstract
Penelitian ini melaporkan hasil pengujian mengenai pengaruh penambahan bahan pengisi alumunium nitride (AlN) terhadap PDIV dan pola partial discharge pada isolasi padat epoxy resin. Pengujian dilakukan terhadap sampel epoxy resin yang diberi penambahan pengisi alumunium nitride (AlN) dengan variasi konsentrasi sebesar 0; 0.5; 1.0; 1.5; 2.0; dan 2.5 wt%. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan sistem elektroda leaf like dengan penuangan isolasi epoxy resin pada sela elektroda sebesar 1 mm. Tegangan tinggi AC yang diaplikasikan memiliki laju kenaikan sebesar 100 V/s. Perekaman data partial discharge dilakukan selama 50 detik dengan kenaikan 1.1; 1.2; dan1.3 terhadap nilai PDIV. Hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa penambahan alumunium nitride (AlN) dapat meningkatkan kekuatan dielektrik pada isolasi epoxy resin. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai PDIV yang terbaik didapatkan pada penambahan konsentrasi 1.5 wt% alumunium nitride (AlN) sebesar 4.2 kV dengan jumlah partial discharge (n) minimum sebanyak 14 pada tegangan 1.1 teerhadap nilai PDIV; 20 pada tegangan 1.2 terhadap nilai PDIV; dan 34 pada tegangan 1.3 terhadap nilai PDIV. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penambahan bahan pengisi alumunium nitride (AlN) dengan konsentrasi 1.5 wt% merupakan variasi konsentrasi terbaik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan isolasi epoxy resin karena nilai PDIV yang lebih tinggi serta jumlah partial discharge yang rendah. This thesis report as results of a research on the effect of the addition of Aluminum Nitride (AlN) fillers on PDIV and partial discharge patterns in epoxy resin solid insulation. Tests were carried out on epoxy resin samples that were given the addition of Aluminum Nitride (AlN) fillers with a concentration variation of 0; 0.5; 1.0; 1.5; 2.0; and 2.5 wt%. Tests were conducted using a leaf like electrode system with epoxy resin insulation casting between the electrodes distance 1 mm. The applied AC high voltage has an increase rate of 100 V/s. Recording of partial discharge data was carried out for 50 seconds with an increase of 1.1; 1.2; 1.3 from the PDIV value. The test results show that the addition of Aluminum Nitride can increase the dielectric strength of epoxy resin insulation. The best PDIV value was obtained by adding a concentration of 1.5 wt% Aluminum Nitride (AlN) of 4.2 kV with a minimum number of partial discharges (n). There is 14 partial discharge at a voltage increase of 1.1 from the PDIV value; 20 partial discharge at a voltage increase of 1.2 from the PDIV value; and 34 partial discharge at a voltage increase of 1.3 from the PDIV value. These results indicate that the addition of Aluminum Nitride (AlN) filler with a concentration of 1.5 wt% is the optimal value to improve the insulating ability of epoxy resin due to the higher PDIV value and low number of partial discharges.
