Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi guru keterampilan dalam mengembangkan life skill peserta didik di MAN 3 Palembang. Informan penelitian terdiri atas lima orang yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi. Keabsahan data dijamin melalui uji kredibilitas, transferabilitas, dependabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi guru keterampilan di MAN 3 Palembang efektif dalam mengembangkan life skill peserta didik. Efektivitas ini terlihat dari penerapan empat indikator strategi pembelajaran, yaitu: (1) perencanaan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan minat peserta didik menggunakan modul standar nasional; (2) pengorganisasian melalui sistem blok yang terstruktur dan didukung fasilitas memadai; (3) pelaksanaan berbasis proyek yang mengintegrasikan teknologi dan pendekatan praktis; serta (4) evaluasi menyeluruh melalui ujian kompetensi, supervisi, serta penilaian proses dan hasil kerja. Strategi ini memastikan perkembangan keterampilan hidup (life skill) peserta didik secara optimal. Kata Kunci: Strategi, Guru Keterampilan, Life Skill
