Abstract

This research aims to: (1) describe the results of the analysis of students' and teachers' needs for learning media for writing negotiation texts based on local wisdom using the Sparkol Videoscribe application for class X students at SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang; (2) Describe the results of the design for developing learning media based on local wisdom using Sparkol Videoscribe for class X students at SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang; (3) Describe the results of expert validation of local wisdom-based learning media using Sparkol Videoscribe for class X students at SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang; (4) The media expert validation results obtained a total score of 60 with a maximum score of 75 with a percentage of 75%. The material expert validation results obtained a total score of 55 with a maximum score of 60 with a percentage of 91.66%. Meanwhile, the linguist validation results obtained a total score of 44 with a maximum score of 50 with a percentage of 88%; (5) Based on the results of the media, material and language validator, the development of learning media for writing negotiation texts based on local wisdom using the Sparkol Videoscribe application for class X students is suitable for use in learning to write negotiation texts.
