Abstract

Thirs study users an erxperrirmerntal merthod. Whirch irncluders ther turnirng procerss irn usirng a varirerty of coolant and dirstirllerd waterr mirxturers, thern carrirerd out wirth a corrosirver terstirng procerss. Ther concerntratiron of coolant and dirstirllerd waterr userd irs 0%, 25%, and 50%. Ther purposer of thirs study was to derterrmirner ther erfferct of coolant concerntratiron on st 37 stererl wirth variratirons irn coolant mirxturers. From ther rersults of thirs study irt irs known that ther 0% dirstirllerd waterr mirxturer has ther slowerst corrosiron rater comparerd to 25% and 50% dirstirllerd waterr wirth a valuer of 0.202 mpy and for a concerntratiron of 25% wirth a valuer of 0.365 mpy, whirler ther fasterst corroderd irs ther variratiron of coolant wirth a mirxturer of 50% dirstirllerd waterr wirth a valuer of 0.994 mpy.
