Abstract
One of the most important mathematical skills for students to master is problem solving ability. An effective learning model that involves students and learning media is one of the factors that influences students' ability to solve problems. The aim of this research is to describe students' problem solving abilities using geogebra-assisted project based learning at MAN 1 Ogan Ilir. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach and was carried out face-to-face, with 27 students in class X Digital 1 MAN 1 Ogan Ilir as research subjects. The data collection techniques used in the research were observation, written tests of problem-solving abilities on linear programming material and student interviews. The results of data analysis from this research show that problem solving abilities are in the medium category with 55.6% of students. Based on the analysis of indicators of students' problem solving abilities in linear programming material, there are 96.3% of students who meet the indicators of understanding the problem, 85.2% of students meet the indicators of making plans, 63% of students are able to meet the indicators of carrying out plans and 22.2% of students meet the indicators of looking back.
