Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) Analyzing the size of the difference in income of cake and bakery MSEs assisted by the South Sumatra BUMN House before and after participating in the marketing and mentoring program organized by the South Sumatra BUMN House. (2) Analyzing the role of the marketing and mentoring program of the South Sumatra BUMN House in supporting the development of cake and bakery MSEs. The research was conducted at the South Sumatra BUMN House in November 2024. The research method used was the survey method and purposive sampling method. The results showed that: (1) There is a significant difference in net income in cake and bakery MSEs in Palembang City after participating in the marketing and mentoring program organized by the South Sumatra BUMN House of Rp630,300,000 per year compared to before participating in the marketing and mentoring program organized by the South Sumatra BUMN House of Rp242,781,500 with a difference of Rp387,518,500 or with a percentage of 159.62 percent. (2) Based on the role of marketing and mentoring programs in the development of cake and bakery MSEs assisted by the South Sumatra BUMN House, it is classified as good in a facilitative role with a score of 13.88, a representative role with a score of 12.38, and a technical role with a score of 13.00. Meanwhile, the educational role is quite good with a score of 11.63. So that the role of the marketing and mentoring program for cake and bakery MSEs assisted by the South Sumatra BUMN House can be said to be good with a score of 50.88.
