Abstract

The objectives of this research were (1) to analyze the perceptions of students at the Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University regarding entrepreneurial intentions in the agricultural sector (2) to analyze the factors that influenced the entrepreneurial intentions of students at the Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University in the agricultural business sector. The research was conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University. Data collection was carried out in April 2024. The research method used was a survey method on 90 student respondents from the Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University and a disproportioned stratified random sampling method. The data collected in this research were primary and secondary data. The results of this research were (1) the perception of students of the Faculty of Agriculture regarding entrepreneurial intentions in agricultural business based on indicators of desire (motive), feelings of joy, and motivational attention, obtaining a total score of 35,04 which fell into the high category (2) factors such as self-efficacy, family support, entrepreneurial education, and finances significantly and positively influenced the interest in entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector.
