Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause low self esteem SA junior high student in the country 1 Indralaya north. The research problem is the factor causing low self esteem in girls SA. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by using a case study approach. Data collection techniques used were interviews on the subject, family, friends, guidance and counseling teacher, and homeroom. Observation at school and at home SA and documentation study value of report cards and records anecdote SA. Data analysis techniques in this using Ishikawa or fishbone. The result showed that the main factor that causes student to experience low self esteem which is the state less harmonious family and economic status is low impact on the development process include: social relationship, anxiety, control of emotions and behaviors that directly relate to the process of interaction with others and friens of the same age
