Abstract

Polusi udara merupakan masalah lingkungan yang signifikan di kota Palembang, memengaruhi kesehatan masyarakat dan kualitas hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi kualitas udara menggunakan metode Long ShortTerm Memory (LSTM), suatu jaringan saraf tiruan yang mampu mempelajari pola data time series dengan akurasi yang lebih tinggi. Data yang digunakan terdiri dari parameter polutan utama, yaitu PM10, PM2.5, SO2, NO2, dan CO, yang dikumpulkan dalam rentang waktu 2018 hingga 2024. Proses penelitian mencakup pengumpulan data, pre-processing, pembangunan model, dan evaluasi menggunakan metrik Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), dan Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model LSTM yang dikembangkan mampu memprediksi data kualitas udara dengan tingkat akurasi yang baik, dengan nilai RMSE sebesar 15,54, MAE sebesar 9,92, dan MAPE sebesar 24,86%. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi landasan bagi pengembangan sistem peringatan dini dan kebijakan berbasis data untuk pengelolaan kualitas udara di Palembang.
