Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran geometri melalui project based learning di MTs Negeri 1 Ogan Ilir. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif (statistik deskriptif) dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IX.2 di MTs Negeri 1 Ogan Ilir yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket atau kuisioner. Angket tersebut dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran geometri melalui project based learning sebanyak 14 siswa termasuk kategori sikap sangat positif dengan persentase 41,18% dan sebanyak 20 siswa termasuk kategori sikap positif dengan persentase 58,82%. Hal ini terjadi karena dengan project based learning, siswa menjadi antusias dalam setiap langkah pembelajaran, dapat menentukan sendiri jadwal dan desain proyek yang akan di buat, bekerja sama dalam membuat proyek, dan dapat menyimpulkan sendiri dari berbagai sumber dan pendapat yang berbeda ketika diskusi dengan senang hati.
