Abstract
Background: The increase in motor vehicles in South Sumatra has led to a rise in traffic accidents. PT Jasa Raharja (Persero), through the Mobile Traffic Safety Unit (MUKL), provides free healthcare services to reduce the risk of accidents and their impacts. However, an evaluation of the program's efficiency is necessary to ensure optimal resource utilization and to generate recommendations for improving traffic safety activities for greater public benefit. Method: This study employs a descriptive qualitative method. Data is collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results/Findings: The study found that MUKL activities are supported by competent medical personnel but face human resource limitations. The budget is not balanced with fluctuating expenditures. Medical equipment availability is sufficient, but distribution to remote areas remains a challenge. The use of medical equipment is effective, although maintenance is needed. The door-to-door service approach and promotion through media effectively enhance accessibility and increase the number of patients. Conclusion: The efficiency of the Mobile Traffic Safety Unit (MUKL) healthcare service at PT Jasa Raharja South Sumatra Branch in 2023 shows a high efficiency level, with a ratio of 84.13% (categorized as "Highly Efficient"). However, budget fluctuations, with imbalances between allocation and realization, have resulted in unimplemented activities in some months and overspending in others. Although MUKL provides optimal benefits, improvements in budget planning and service distribution are necessary.
