Abstract
di tempat-tempat umum, maka pada tugas akhir ini dibuatlah sebuah sistem palang parkir otomatis dengan menggunakan Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID). RFID akan mengirimkan kode unik ke Personal Computer yang didalamnya terdapat Software VisualBasic 6.0 untuk diolah dan dicocokkan datanya dengan Database yang kemudian akan memerintahkan mikrokontroler untuk membuka palang parkir secara otomatis. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, maka didapatlah jarak yang paling jauh untuk dapat melakukan proses scan RFID yaitu 4,9 cm dan 1 cm untuk jarak terdekat dari proses scan RFID, dan posisi yang paling baik untuk proses scan RFID adalah tepat di atas RFID reader
