Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged educational institutions to adapt in the way they disseminate information. Websites have become a key medium that can increase credibility, accessibility and effectiveness. However, many institutions still rely on social media as the main means of disseminating information, which is often less structured and difficult to access in the long term. Ma'had Tahfidz Hidayatul Qur'an (MTHQ) Bangka is an educational institution based on Tahfidz Al-Qur'an that doesn't have an official website yet. The dissemination of information at MTHQ is done through social media, which makes it difficult for users to access information easily and systematically. This research aims to develop the MTHQ website as an official information platform by applying Rapid Application Development (RAD) to accelerate development and the Double Diamond framework to produce an optimal UI/UX design. The research method includes needs analysis, UI/UX design, website development, usability evaluation and website implementation. Testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) with 105 respondents from the general public resulted in a score of 84, categorised as "Acceptable", "Grade A" and "Excellent", indicating that the website is highly usable, easy to use and well received. The developed website is also responsive and can be accessed on various devices. With this system, MTHQ now has a faster, more structured and professional information platform, which is expected to increase the effectiveness of communication and information dissemination.
