Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Value-Added Tax (VAT) incentives, Luxury Goods Tax (PPnBM) incentives, and Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) incentives on the purchase intention of electric vehicles in Palembang. The research method used is quantitative with purposive sampling technique based on the Isaac and Michael formula. The sample consists of 280 respondents from Palembang who are over 20 years old and have a minimum income of IDR 5.000.000 per month. This study uses Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis technique with SmartPLS 4.0 as the analytical tool through the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) approach. The results of the study show that VAT incentives, PPnBM incentives, and PKB incentives have a positive and significant effect on the purchase intention of electric vehicles in Palembang
